Hey ... not trying to start an argument or be sarcastic. Just never seen it there before. Mine is also offset (made by Detour!) and it's on the left & it's perfect.
Just saying ...

im just more comfortable with my tire on the right side. i have my rear view mirror set so i see more out of my drivers side anyways. maybe it is just the way i drive, but its mostly just preference.

In any car i drive my natural instinct is to adjust the mirror so most of my view is directly behind me and to the center. If i want to see the rear right side or hard to the rear left i should be looking back or using the other mirrors anyway.

I like both designs. With it on the right, therre is better left right balance on the vehicle offsetting the driver and front diff weight. On the left, you do not have to twist your neck as much to see out the back.

How much swing out do these two have? Do you have any problems with a trailer hooked up?

Yes, I bought the bumper from DetoursUSA. No I can't weld. Not sure what your point is, but numerous companies sell bumpers & Little Leonard is making a killing right here on CF. Seems to me a lot of people buy bumpers & in fact I don't personally know anyone who has made their own.
