seriously why be a sheep? (dont take offince) reg stingers are played out. although i do like a reg stinger as much as the next guy....but i think he did a great job incorperating the square stinger and making it flow with the rest of the bumper and jeep. ive seen some horrible square stingers but this one is very nice.

Not sure, it's my first time going. I saw pictures from last years event and it looked pretty mean. I'm installing a Ruff Stuff D30 cover before I go. Wish I had the extra funds to lock the rear but we'll see how it goes.

Last time I went locked open, it was ok... but definately not nasty. Shorter wheel base rigs have more issues, but also depends on the driver

Thanks! We took down tube length measurements and kept enough information to replicate the design in case the interest was there to produce more.
I'm pushing to get this in HLC Fabrication's catalog but we'll likely need to sort the winch mounting before we list them on the site. Let me know if you're interested and I can have Denny quote you.
Trials this weekend! Pictures to come!

That place is a riot. If you live in tolerable driving range to that place, it's worth going. I had such a blast. The bumper snagged once but didn't stop forward motion. Never needed it for recovery either, so no great story about that.

^haha, nice. Gives me a good feeling about what to look forward to. We've actually set it up to mount with a behind-the-crossmember orientation. Once I drop the funds on a winch, you will only see the fairlead in that opening. Give Denny a shout, he'll quote you one.

^Exactly. If you'll notice the caption around that image you'll see I noted that it wasn't complete in that picture and missing those pieces. The ones I posted later show the rounded end caps we used. They're punched from 0.188" flat bar into a semi-circle.
