these are really close to the ones i made, i like your ballistic fab skull and plate and latch idea, i used a simple bolt latch

Why didn't either of you flip them over? Is it not comfortable on your arm?

well i drive with my left hand so my arm is usually straight and when i hang out the door i have more room to hang out to see what im climbing on, but i think they would look good that way also

I didn't think about that and I'm going to put a pad off of a dirt bike handle bars

Don't waste the money. Grab a pool noodle with a hole in it. Paint it black to match if you'd like, or leave it for contrast. A red noodle would look Dope in my opinion.

by the way harbor freight $99 12ton hydraulic pipe and tube bender comes with a bunch of dyes , thats what i use and it has paid for itself first use

I always thought that the HF bender left wrinkles on the pipe when ever you bend more then a 90

it will but if you use a torch and heat it a bit on tight bends it helps alot, and no offense but a few dimples is nothing compared to what theyre gonna have when i offroad.

+1 this was the only thing I could find to build my freestyle mx ramps with. A little heat went a long ways btw and thats a specific vert and it was no rinky dink build

Heres a picture towards the end of winter when we couldnt hit the ramps for a few months

Doors look good, but i wouldn't use a gate latch...liabilty nightmare. plus the rattle like hell. You should look into this style latch, its double locking and latches as secure as the factory door. there is more info in my sig at the bottom.
