Wow, definitely different. Pretty ugly IMO, but I've had people say the same about my TJ flares. Put some lore time into them and I think they could look alright.

function over form any day....and if ya take it down a tight trail, they will tend to flex more than any other flair and give ya at least a little buffer

I think they look pretty cool. If you finish off the underside and edges a bit they will look really neat!

That's using the old noodle. Can't beat the price and easily replaced if you have another TFOJ incident.

completely out of one's thinking

jus cover the inner part with a bent metal sheet, black or body colour would be fine. n if u had used thicker tyres, the brick shaped ones...it would had got a much more tougher look.

Looks great from the top, great idea, will flex great on rocks or trees. Some kind of cover up on the bolts and you could sell them on ebay.
