Is that $975 for a bumper?! Does it come with a winch or something?

yea 975 before shipping no does not come with winch the things built to match the price and the quality is better than most there not a flaw on it or anything they should have done different all the welds look robot welded. http://www.desertrat.com/products/?id=3305

My bad looks like it got cheaper lol when i bought it it was 975 and like 25 more for the tubes guess they got smart lmao

i have the same bumper. i like the idea of being able to weld an exo to the tubes.
besides, the tubes are there in case of a roll over, you'll save your rad so you can still drive it out.
that and it saves you from a deer impact. with a full exo, you can hit a moose and keep driving. lol.
this bumper is the toughest one i've ever seen. mounting it is a job in itself.

so, keep the tubes.

yea lol i dont think ill ever see a moose to run into however deer are all over the place here and i cant wait to tag one i dont think the deer will live, as far as install i here ya there like 200 pounds + a floor jack and 2 people with alot of wood stacked on the jack in my case lol

sell it and get something that doesn't make your approach angle way worse than a stock bumper. I can't stand the look of the warn bumpers personally.

the stock bumper is flat and straight the warn is not and does not affect approach angles at all..the rock would have to be like 42 inches tall and locked or not my rig wouldnt go over rocks that size.

Thats not true at all. Don't spread misinformation like that, and go learn what an approach angle is. Measure how far the bottom edge of a stock bumper sticks out from the front of the frame rails, then go measure how much a Warn bumper sticks out. The Warn bumper DOES stick out farther and thus reduces your approach angle. I know this because one of my good buddies ran that exact warn bumper for 2 years on his rig.

Guess what, he got sick of having something so huge sticking off the front, sold it and is buying something with a better approach angle.

OR you can get a bumper thats not like having a boat anchor on the front of your Jeep and crawl up them instead of having to smash your bumper on them.

Keep the bars. They saved my entire front driver's side header panel including head lights and signals. You can actually see where the bar was pushing into the hill side.
