I bought a little Eastwood 135 back in November to do some projects with.
Now I'm hooked on making stuff for the jeep.
Finishing up this now:
Note, this tacked together on the Jeep with the 135, I used a miller 252 to finish weld the rest of it.

it's a tool stand for Boeing so the engineers can set up gears inside twin screw housings.
Basically the housing get the shaft through the side and it powers two shafts coming out.

Are you going to have to offset the winch a little? I would would love to do this but from everything I've read there's no way to do it with out the fairlead being a little off center. I think it would drive me nuts although the approach angle might make up for it.

Yes, it is off set but not enough for you to tell unless your really really OCD I guess. One side of the winch is shorter than the other and the short side goes against the steering box. So it keeps it mostly centered.

I just wish I lived close enough to come by and test your welding skills with some DOM tubing. Ha! Ha! But seriously looks like weld **** to me!
