There's more but the site hasn't been letting me upload all photos. Weird..
Also an update on the Sentinel hood...it's been a while now. Love it as much as day 1.

Yup. and, they keep changing **** on the fly. Annoying, LOL
It's okay, as we backcharge for that, haha
Yesterday alone I had to take 8 platforms, that were ready for final processing, out of the loop and rework to new specs. Took 4 hours alone just moving **** around...to weld a single 12" piece of uni-rail on an opposite side of the frame. One single piece of 12" unirail, 6 stitch welds, each platform. 5 hours total time to rework.

Wait... Did I read that right? They are building a new stadium? Good to see you are getting some work out of it, but why are they building a new stadium for the Rams when they are giving tickets away just to get someone to come? Who is paying for that? They can't afford to fix their streets and they are building a new sports stadium?
Sorry, I know it's off topic but I had to ask...

I have an alpha tig and like it. Granted I'm a self taught amateur with zero experience on any other tigs. I've used it to build a couple of stainless exhausts and weld several aluminum flanges.

Speaking of exhausts, I have a flux welder and wanted to know if I could still weld exhausts? I have no clue what kind of steel is being used by the two vehicles. My jeep, and my e30. Both could use an exhaust. The e30 cause it needs to be louder, and the XJ cause...just because lol

ok, thanks yall!
I was thinking of getting a stainless magnaflow for the car, wasn't sure how well that would weld to, i think, the steel exhaust.
edit: I believe that I went with .035 for this spool. my first was .030". My welder is a HH140.

Here's a roll your eyes story. At work our welding table looks to be 20-30 years old. No big deal. It has an angle iron frame with a 1/4" plate top. All steel.
I have worked there 10 months and always wondered why the welding table had a C-clamp at an odd angle on one edge. I figured maybe it was part of a crude jig or something, but nobody ever mentioned it so I just kind of ignored it. One day I get curious and I take the C-clamp off. Welp... it was there because the table had cracked where the angle iron met the plate.
So let's recap. The C-clamp was there to hold the two pieces of steel WELDING TABLE together. Now the crack was about 10 inches long, certainly intimidating.
But I managed to WELD the crack on the WELDING table just fine. LMAO. Now we don't need a C-clamp.
Just thought it was amusing and felt like sharing.

If I'm not mistaken that machine can use gas, and I know that you can get stainless mig wire. If you're willing to pay for stainless tubing I'd spend the extra to get the gas and wire to match. If you do choose to weld stainless with flux core keep in mind that the weld will not be stainless and will rust.

No, I don't lick fish.
Nice to see you posting some more welds, Roni. Definitely a different type of work from your previous gig, that's for sure.
Speaking of weld pics, here's some from my new stick machine....
Never stick welded before, so go easy on me haha

Hey! that bottom one is starting to clean up a bit! It's the nature of the beast, you have to burn through some rod to get the feel of it. We all did that before it came together.
