I don't weld docks currently just use them. The welds are part of how they mount.
I'm surprised that most the welds I see hold up to a 5 ton+ lift plus its cargo on a daily basis.

I can't get my puddle to stack dimes like that, I always have more dimes in it lol.

yeah I don't really know why mine come out like that lol. I always push unless going down hill, and I just go back and forth. no C's or anything. I don't even know if it's strong that way but I sure like how it looks

Wouldn't hurt to tighten that whip up a little, its not holding up a building though so no worries.

The weld nuts are TIG welded and the fillet joint are MIG welded.
