No HF welder. It has two switches. High /low power and a min/max, so 4 different options. We were welding on low-max. The low-min welds kept popping off, low max is what I welded my floors with

yeahh didn't see the point putting it on here lol. knucklehead's work is too clean. I can't read his or ericXJ's threads anymore because they make me want to redo everything
that looks fine man. you could make it a lot of bondo work or a little. depends on how smooth you want it to turn out. it's not easy or fun but it will turn out decent. I usually just put a whole bunch of tacks down and grind them smooth. welding the whole thing up would be tough and can cause warping.

I agree. As long as it doesnt leak on you. Its on the roof, no one ever sees it lol.

I just kinda went through this alittle. The bondo w fiberglass, bondo glass and bondo hair is supposed to b "100% waterproof." Regular bondo filler is supposed to b "95% waterproof" or something like that. Then u paint it. Which it waterproof. In theory

no. use regular old bondo with a hardener. it's not water proof but it doesn't have to be. it's used to repair thousands of cars every day covered by insurance. the water proofing comes from the paint/clear. I'm sure theres a youtube video on how to mix and spread bondo

it should hide most imperfections so it would make things easier. but I always make sure to call the company that produces the bedliner and ask them about application specific procedures. explain that you want to use it as your base coat over bondo, should you use primer, is it waterproof etc. they'll know best

rhino liner will probably stick to anything. there should be basic directions on the back of the can or whatever you're using. I've never used the stuff
