Made a couple hundred of this...

Used a rotary table to revolve the piece while I held the TIG torch stationary.

Maybe we should start a "what I was doing right before I went to the ER" thread.

My welding project for the day is to try and figure out the cheapest way to have a 220V extension cord.

Maybe a house or business demolition? 220 is used for runs to hot water heaters, stoves, hot tubs,etc.

Any electrical supply store sells wire by the foot. Even Lowe's and Home Depot sell it by the foot. Buy the length you need of either 12/3G SJO or 10/3G SJO, then buy the connections and terminate them yourself. It's really easy and much cheaper than buying a pre-built cord.

I ended up having 19' of 6/4 SO cord given to me, it's way overkill but I now have a 25' cord for $30!

Edit:
Guess I'll add a picture so it's more welding related. I'm working on a front bumper.
