Yes sir. I sure am. Everyone said its crappy for making bumpers and stuff but a few years ago I had another xj and made a bulky bumper with d rings on it and made it with the same kind of welder. Got pulled out with it and also pulled a few people out. The bumper didn't budge so i think I'll be ok

No, I don't lick fish.
I'm not knockin' it.... I have the same one - gives me a little glimmer of hope to see someone making stuff with it.

Some TIG welding on my differential gears.

Using the auto pulse causes "hot short cracks" in your welds and should be avoided for continuous welding on structural items though lots of people use that method.

I made a swingout tire carrier at one point, but have since removed it, for several reasons...it was heavy, it got damaged during a cross country move on the back of a trailer (still don't know how), and I still don't have a full size spare anyways, so I'll just leave it off for now...looked cool, though
I'm planning on re-doing it all at some point anyways, I'd like to comp cut the rear, and do some custom tube flares as well, but I need to plate the uniframe next, before I install my 3 link. Going to order my stiffeners this week as a matter of fact. Going to go through Dirtbound Offroad, they have the RuffStuff middles, and they offer front and rear sections for the uniframe...and they're fairly local, so I can go pick 'em up, and not have to pay shipping!

Lincoln Pro Mig 175
Beginner welder here. Wife bought me a Lincoln Handy mig a while back. Been playing around with it but haven't done a whole lot. Ready to start trying to increase my abilities and take on some new projects.
I have a coworker who has a Lincoln Pro Mig 175 new in the box that he bought but never used that I can pick up for a good price.
Thoughts on this unit? Anyone have experience with it?

On topic - thoughts on Campbell Hausfeld welders?
