MIG Man could use some long sleeves, gauntlet gloves, long pants, and something other than flipflops as foot protection...but I guess MIG Man scoffs at danger!!! LMAO

Is that you? Have you dropped a larger ball of slag down into the strap of your Flip Flops yet? lol. I have, I still have one in my foot that I never had time to deal with. Never bothers me but it did bother the TSA every time I flew.

Yes, that's me. Lol. I actually have a chunk in my leg from when I was a roughneck working the drill rigs.

Just a small Miller MIG with .035 wire. Was doing exhaust work. As I said, I have very little splatter with that old thing.

Yeah, I do alot of arc work at my job...so I figured what the heck. Not enough to by an IR, but enough to want to do away with a chipping hammer, LOL

Did you do like I did? I was stick welding and felt it but didn't want to interrupt my all so important pretty bead. Then I looked at it and said boy it burnt me pretty bad without another thought. I found out later when I broke my foot and had it imaged that it had actually melted down in there and was still there. Doctor asked me "What is that little round scar on your foot from?", "Welding burn", He said "Look it's still in there!" lol.

You know, when you're burning rod, nothing else matters...burns are just part of the job
