Ok...got some more work done and new tank in and wanted to start on this idea...

So....first step...

Use a YJ fuel filler bezel I picked up for free.

Next....cut and reroute hoses inside...

Now here is where having two filler assemblies on hand came in handy. To get the right angles, I had to flip the stock hoses around, then turn upside down. I then cut a bend out of the spare set of hoses, and cut my old filler neck to use as a pipe-splice between the two hoses to get the right angles to achieve this.

With that being done....this is what it will look like from the outside.

All that's left is installing a hinge system. The bottom half with get the stock filler door hinge, and the top a regular hidden hinge.
