Thanks! They look much better black and I like them. Was told CJs never came with aluminum wheels so they're either off an f-150 or bronco.
The Cooper STT's run way quiet too! Can't notice them even with the windows rolled down.

Thanks! I get a lot of compliments almost everywhere I go. I even had 2 XJ haters tell me they hated XJs but really liked mine. Now I just wish it was fast! Have another '91HO XJ block and head torn apart and ready for a machine shop so I can have it built into a stroker. That'll be awhile though.

Yea i've heard that about those - very tame on a street driven rig.

Me - I love the howling of big mud tires at 70mph

Love the setup, been lurking throughout your axle build for ideas. What color is the jeep? Spray can? Looks like a good top color for my two tone. Thanks

I have no idea what the actual name of the color is but it's Dupli-Color self etching primer.(rattle can) Used around 3 coats of it. I have no idea what "self etching" means but it covers really good and dries fast. And it's extremely durable. It's a little more expensive than your basic primer but I love the color and how well it works.

Im curious as to why you didn't go to a long arm set up in the front end? Instead of welding an really tall upper control arm bracket on the passenger side of the axle shaft. Just a question. Looks good though!

He said that long arms are in the plans but the funds werent there yet so the short arms are for now. Also, the passenger upper mount allows for more options for long arms. He can do the IRO "3 link", a true 3 link, 4 link, or radius style long arms.

MONEY!!! Probably leaning toward a true 4-link long arm up front once I can afford it.

I'm three linking my front and rear also. I'm doing radius arms and the track bar front and rear. Keeps better pinion angles on the axle and transfer case.
