Steve I know that you must carry a spare tire so it must be one of the mini's under your stored items. Mine came with a full sized tire and matching chromed and polished aluminum wheel. But I still have room for some storage in there for a few items.

My WJ with the 4.7HO V-8 gets 18-19 MPG average city and highway with 3.73 gears and it came with a few options in fact all that offered that year except for NAV. I didn't even know how many options it had till I ran the vin for the build sheet, no wonder the window sticker was almost $70,000.

The one thing that showed the true use most was the drivers side factory "Overland Edition" floor mat what was left of it lol.

Here is a factory build sheet.

Tagging onto an old thread, simply because I know others will have the same question. I went from the full size wagoneers, to the small cherokee. Too small also (though I got one for mom), so I wound up with a series of old broncos, all the full size OLDER vehicles got terrible (7-11 mpg) mileage. As I got older and less flexible, I needed something with bigger inside drivers area. Ford Expedition. More legroom than even I could imagine (37" pants inseam, and I can straighten out my legs and feet and still just barely hit the firewall). Mileage? Amazing. 15 in the city, 20 on mixed city and highway (usually at 80 mph). Just don't buy a pre 2008 Expy with that 3 valve engine, or you're looking at exploding spark plugs, valve train oil starvation, and broken valve chain guides. Seems they solved those things around 2007. My 2008 has been problem free, good mileage, and plenty of room. If you want a column shift, those are hard to find. I searched out a fleet vehicle used sparingly by the supervisor, and it had perfectly written service history. Took me several months to find one with the column shift and NO sunroof; only comes that way on base models.
