Default 1997 Window Sticker Price?? YIKES!

I have the original window sticker for my 97 Grand Cherokee...$36,000+change, factor in registration and tax and that's a $40,000 vehicle. The owner upgraded a few things for a couple of thousand but nothing outrageous. Speakers were blown and front tires were both balding on the outside from not being rotated. Had a cell phone installed in the vehicle once upon a time which were NOT cheap to operate because they had unlimited range. I'm thinking a very rich family bought this then let a son/daughter use it at college(US Santa Barbara sticker) then it was parked.

I paid $3,000 a year ago with 87,000 original miles and looked like it had been parked for a while but I'd say about in as good of condition a 12-13 year old vehicle could be.

I was a little shocked at the original sticker price!

Surprisingly no, the Up Country suspension would have been nice(I think thats what you call it?), no sun roof. I'm sure there are other options but seems to have most everything, all power, leather, cruise etc.

Try owning an older BMW. I owned a 1992 BMW 750iL for about a year, and the original sticker price on it was around $80k, and this was back in 1992.
