So I'll ask again... why do you want to change?

We can say anything we like but none of it will matter unless you really don't have any reason of your own. Same goes for any vehicle. What does the ZJ do that your XJ doesn't? You want comfy seats? A V8? A **** transmission? What?

An XJ can have comfy seats and a V8... you just have to mess with it a bit

I would like more power and automatic for winter is the main reason I know I got a rare combination for a Jeep and that's why I bought it. I was just wondering thoughts on grands and if people liked them a lot I know u can get one pretty cheap.

I like my ZJ, but I like it for different reasons than I like my XJ. It's comfortable, it rides better, has a **** ton more power compared to my 2.8L, it still has rear seats so I can actually take my friends with, it's still capable, and a great all around daily driver. I still like my XJ more though.

More power for what? lol The 4.0L is a damn fine engine. Not sure what "automatic for winter" means. You want AWD like the NP242 or NP249? You can swap those in if you don't want to get decent snow tires (mud tires are NOT snow tires)

Who cares what we think. I can't stand the look of ZJs or WJs, cut fenders, Camaros, Trans Ams, tube bumpers, stingers, or big tires. But that doesn't amount to sweet **** all.

You buy clothes on your own, right? If you want one, get one!

(there is a reason they're cheap and everywhere... you'd do well to find a spare transmission or get one with a non-problem tranny, I think the 5.9s had the better one)

You haven't seen the video where the I6 dragged the V8 across the parking lot, have you...?

Tug-of-war games mean nothing. Traction counts more than horsepower.

I know the 4.0 is a great engine i have had no issues with it. Automatics are easier when you are bashing through snow and getting stuck. I don't want all wheel drive. What tires do u run if u say mud tires are not good in the snow?

Anything with the peak snow symbol:

This is one area where Duratracs and some A/Ts actually do quite well. Mud tires don't have siping.

Depends on how deep the snow is
