Sure wish I still had it. I'm searching for a set of Turbines for my 2 dr. (the white one just above) and will be replacing the MOABs that are on it now. I have them on my MJ and they are by far my favourite Jeep wheel.
I still have the window sticker, the MSRP was $16958.00 but with my trade in I got it for less. I like your Jeep also, what are the Turbines that you mentioned?

I know the CDN & US dollars were not even close to par back then but I paid just over $30K CDN for my '90 XJ Laredo. I have the bill of sale for my '89 Limited (above) and it was just under $31K.

The wheels you have Turbines. I'm happy to say that since my post this this morning I found a set and will be picking them up tomorrow. Here is the first set I bought and that are now on my MJ ... another 2 dr. but not a Cherokee.

Wow that is a nice Jeep truck and the Turbines reallyset off the black. I didn't know they're referred to as Turbines. If you're aware of any one else that is getting rid of the Turbines let me know I need one for my spare.

I still have the sales brochure that I picked up at the dealership in 1990. I highlighted the options I wanted and thi was one of them. They're simply listed as "5 hole, 10 spoke, cast aluminum" wheels. I don't know if they were officially named "Turbines" at a later date. It was fairly common for Jeep to name its wheels (MOABs, Eccos, Grizzlies, Ravines, Alcoas, etc.). It may be that "Jeep people" named them Turbines on their own.

They're fairly hard to come by and the centre caps make it a bit harder. Local is good too of course as they'd be expensive to ship. I was lucky to find a set within 100km and it will be a nice drive in the morning to pick them up!

Jeep people mayhave named them. I did put out a post asking if anyone has one they would like to sell. I like them because they're unique.

My 96 (w/AW4/231, D30/8.25) I picked up almost a year before deployment. She's getting a RE 5.5" lift, 4.56's and 285/75r16's (33's) when I get home next month.

Default Love Stock

Love your XJ 2dr and love the stock mentality. Hoping to to the same with
my 89 Laredo.
love to hear what stock upgrades/improvements you’ve done or are planning. I’d like to improve brakes and steering and I need to address spring sag in the rear.
it will be interesting to see what you do.

Best advice I can give, don't go insane off the bat. Choose what your needs & terrain warrant, and slowly start building from there. Brakes, there are a ton of threads here on how to upgrade and part swaps to keep it budget friendly. Springs, well it all depends on how bad yours are sagging and if any leafs are broken. So it may be as simple as adding an add a leaf to put it back to reasonable height, or replacing the packs all together.
Remember the old saying "Rome wasn't built in a day".

My ‘95. Only 80K miles on the OD. Mostly stock with 2” lift and Nifty Shifter. It’s been a fun project so far. Runs like a top. It’s become my daily driver since the I can’t get the vehicle I ordered 500+ days ago.

Wow that is really clean!
I like the NO roof rack from the factory look.
Gotta say white Cherokees are really starting to look great to me.
