It can be done without a coil spring compressor, I know because I've done it. You have to disconnect the LCAs to get the proper droop to be able to take the springs out without a compressor.

if someone wanted to buy both sockets they can be had for cheap, less than $5 for both. If he were to go to sears who has a lifetime warranty on all craftsman products then he could get BOTH for $6 before tax

see i was thinking about doing the fron on my own because for some reason i think it would e easier then the shackles due to rust and a possibility of the bolts getting messed up

ok so the pep boys guy told me he would install it so i orderd it right. i called him about 3 times and he doesnt return calls so im going to have me and a buddy try and do it. Now how often do the bolts get messed up on the shackles or is it just luck?

im getting inpatient i want my lift installed. i got tools for xmas so im set on that just worried about those shackles thats the only thing holding me back

taht was for my old jeep. had a buddy do it. now i have a zj lifted 3.5" inches

i just put on 30's and my rear end is rubbing, so i gotta put a lift on asap, i figure i'll go with shackles in the rear and spacers in the front
