Got to be because it's a better quality tire.

I just feel the falkens are probably the better comparing price to quality of you are finding the khumo is more expensive. Which is weird because our shop sells the falkens at a higher price haha. The at3w is gaining some popularity.

Maybe 500 miles on my Falkens and so far. I only know of two people running the Khumos but neither took the weight it took to balance mine. Even my 33/12.50-15 Super Swampers didn't. Other than the vibration between 30-40mph though they seem fine. But I've NEVER had anything like it with any tire I've owned. Like I've said it took A LOT of weight on all 4 to balance them. One tire maybe I could see. I can give them a thumbs up when driving in heavy rain. Other than that driving conditions have been normal. Haven't had them on the interstate yet but need to make a 1hr+ run here before long.

So anyways I'm not above having them rebalanced. What's the latest tech (what's it called?) in balancing to give these tires their best shot?

strange, we haven't come across that issue with them. We sell probably a set a day.

you can try balance beads, but there is also roadforce balancing as well.

careful witgbthose tires in wet conditions coming up. Those wrangler are one of the worst tires on the market in terms of wet traction.

I went with the Hankook DynaPro ATM. They seem to have some pretty great reviews. Also, they were running free shipping which saved me 48 dollars as opposed to Tirerack. I will post some pics when I get the tires and after I install them. Thanks for the input guys....https://www.discounttiredirect.com/b...m-rf10/p/10811

I ran the Hankook on one of my CJs with great luck. I also ran a set on my Hummer. They did great in the mud and in the rain.

A little change of pace here. I cancelled the Hankook tire purchase. A friend of mine suggested to install 2 inch lift spacers and new Bilstein shocks, thus allowing bigger tires and a more aggressive look. As much as I drive the Jeep I'm not sure if it makes sense to buy an entire lift kit. I will never take this Jeep off road or anything like that. We drive it once or twice a week and are just looking for a more aggressive look. any thoughts or opinions are greatly appreciated. Here are the front lift spacers...

Haha. That does make sense. So yes, I imagine I will have to buy the rear kit as well. Has anyone here done anything similar? I did see 2 rough country kits with a 3 inch lift for 299 and 389 respectively

I run a 2 inch lift with rustys 2 inch lift coils up front and new Dorman leaf springs with loft shackles. Doknt even bother with rough country. You're just asking for trouble. If you do decide on a 3 inch lift, go with zone or rustys

Is it safe to say I could go as large as a 235.75.16 if I stay on stock suspension or would 235.70.16 be as large as I can go. I think I am putting the lift on hold and just doing tires and coolant overhaul. I feel they are much more important going into the winter.

Falkens are a little higher because they are built by Sumitomo. But they can be found cheaper than the Sumitomos even though they are the same tire.

I think you'd be fine with the 235/75-16 at an average of 29.9" tall. Width of both are the same. My 235/75-15 Grabber AT2'S were around 29.5" and I had no problems other than the driver side would sometimes rub the lca in an extreme off camber situation.
