I believe mine came with 225 and it has 235 now. Worst it gets off is 3-4 mph and that's at 70mph. I rarely drive that fast. Normally it's within 1-2 mph of my gps when I use it. 90% of my driving is from 35 in the city to 55-60 on back roads.

Don't know how you manage that. I get 10mpg with 32s and 4.11 gearing. Possibly a tad better on highway.

I made the mistake of installing 703s, spectre, bored TB and 2.5 catback, all at once. So now I'm having to remove them one by one to figure out what's wrong.

When it was stock it did 17 - 20 without issues....

Running 35s at 4:56, speedo corrected. lucky to get 12 if I don't drive it too hard, between armor and D60 took a big hit mileage wise but once I get there I'm doing the d@#$ thing.

First tank on my 703 injectors, and I pulled 19 mpg with it. Shifting at 1800 on acceleration and easy throttle, didn't go much above 55. This is on a 93 with 237,000 and 35" Falken a/t and 4.56 gears with the ax-15.

The most i got out of my xj was 270 till the light comes on and that was around town. I can only get 16 gal. In my tank even tho it says 20 gal. Around town i get between 15 and 17 mpg and hwy i get between 17 and 19. I have a 00 xj sport, four door,4.0L, auto, 4x4, no aftermarket lift and stock gears, 30x9.5x15 bfg at ko's at 40 psi.

I get 350 to 380 out of a tank ( I've never ran it to empty so maybe more ) and I thought that was bad. I'm glad I read this.

How do you get that kind of mileage?

Just replaced my downpipe (with a walker with no pinch) and my cat, with a high flow unit recommended by performance curve. It is now 2.5" all the way from header flange to back pipe.

First thing off the rack was a 'wow'. The engine sounds and feels like something has been unclogged and born again. My stock cat only had 60K and a bit on it, looked OK visually, but must have been clogged, dirty or something...

Engine revs faster, idles better, sounds quieter and reacts much more quickly.

I will erase the PCM tomorrow and start logging mileage. I have a feeling this is going to change from the 10MPG city and max 17MPG highway that I have had so far...

I did literally the exact same thing. Except the reason I did all of this was for the stock manifold being cracked.
I got an APN header and haven't been very impressed. I have the stock intake manifold and it's a 93 so there shouldn't be any fitment issues, but I had to do some pretty extensive grinding. Took it back out for the second time to grind some more and figured that should be all.. back together again and it still has a misfire. Not sure if it's vacuum related or what but it's very frustrating now.

I've had a leak at the #2cylinder for a while now that I think is header related

Well luckily I don't have any problems with the header anymore.. cylinder #3 injector harness want fully clipped in giving me that misfire. I double checked all the manifold bolts and probably over torqued them but no leaks! Seems like all new exhaust completely woke this thing up..
