I did the exact same thing but with a flowmaster 44 and the APN header. Sounds absolutely great now.

what diameter is the walker pipe? I'm back to reality and off the pacesetter header kick now. I plan on using an apn manifold. is it a direct fit with the walker stuff? order that downpipe, a donut gasket and I'm good to go? I'd still like to have 2.5" exhaust from the manifold back. however, I am definitely not using a flowmaster muffler of any sort on this jeep. i'll go with the quietest and cheapest (in that order of importance) 2.5" muffler I can find.

Honestly I think its about 2.25" up at the collector. If you plan on doing most of the things like I did, make sure you get 2.5" from the cat on back. Its 2.5" at the end of that walker downpipe. The only problem I had was actually having to grind my intake manifold for enough room over the apn. Besides that it was pretty much all direct fit for me. I got the cat and cat-back system from performance curve and the walker pipe from amazon. Not sure on what suggestion I could give you for a muffler tho. I didnt really like the way any of the magnaflow sound clips online had sounded, and wanted a mellow flowmaster so the 44 was perfect for me.

Same here. Walker had to be bent a bit to clear the cross member. I took a 50 muffler for less noise...

Yeah that's right. I took a pry bar to bend it up just a little bit higher than the crossmember

I get about 270-280 per tank hwy with 4.5", 33's, and 4.56's in my 99. About 200-220 miles in the city. Bone stock, you should be able to get 300+ to a tank on the hwy if you're drive-train is running smoothly.

Just changed o2 sensor, fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap and rotor while still only getting 200 miles a tank if I am lucky.
