Default 2WD to 4WD conversion

I have a 1994 2 door, 2 WD, 6 cylinder, 5 speed. I was wondering if anyone has ever converted a 2WD to 4WD. If so, how much trouble was it, was it crazy expensive, and what problems or tips do you have for me. Thanks in advance, wish me luck...

The parts list is pretty simple though finding all of them can be a bit time consuming unless you manage to buy a parts truck. You'll need a 4wd transmission, front axle that matches the gear ratio of your current rear, 4wd shifter and linkages, possibly the cross member, drive shafts (make sure you grab the rear shaft that matches which rear end you own. That's just what I can think of off the top of my head. I'm sure there is more I'm forgetting.
