Look for the thread "low COG suspension setup tips/tricks" it's all about big rubber on minimal lift and what it takes to get there. That said, without trimming you are really limited if your staying low. At 2" I can rub my 235/75's on the top of wheel. My fenders are pulled but uncut and lock to lock I only rub on drivers side LCA, not fenders. But any wider of a tire and fender rub would be an issue.
31x10.50's on 2" lift: minimal trim and proper bump stops and backspacing.
33x10.50's on 2" lift: more trimming and proper bump stops and backspacing.
33x12.50's on 2" lift: idk... Lots of trimming, lots of backspacing and lots of bump stopping...
33x10.50-12.50's on 3" lift: back to reasonable amount of trimming, bump stops and backspacing and your lookin badass. Idk... My .02

I run 265/75's on 3" and pretty much just had to trim the bumper caps. The back rubs when it squats but if I do some trimming to the caps back there I should be good. Pretty much a 32" tire. Right in between the two sizes you're lookin at.

i got 31's on my jeep, its gotta 3 inch lift, but when i turn my tires a certain direction they rub against something its like a plastic thing around the wheels, no biggie juss need to trim it back or remove the whole thing
