This^^^^ A lift is not just about height, it is about how well the axle can articulate. And since you would have to buy a new set of shackles anyway this is a no brainer. I have used heavily and recommend the hd offroad engineering no lift shackles.

Keep the coil spacers in the front I have never heard of them causing problems. I can imagine if you tried to stack a number of them but 1-2" is fine. Just because things come as a kit doesnt mean it is engineered well or all aspects are built well. You would do yourself a great service if you take the advice of piecing your lift together. For one you want good shocks and the ones in most kits are not very good. Take a look at the parts list from the kit you like and create your own off of it. Dont get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with using a kit. They get you lifted and tons of folks have gone that route even myself when I started. I just wouldnt do it again that way and if I had taken more time researching I would have done things different. Best of luck with whichever path you go down. Either way you will likely learn some things and hopefully enjoy the experience.

He already baught 4.5in leafs. So if he uses his 1.5 in shackle plus no lift relocators he will be at 6.5in. If he uses regular relocators and extended shackles with his stock leafs he might be at about 3.5in but then the shackle just hangs way too freaking low IMO and he is still too low compared to the front. So with the 4.5in leafs he will not be able to use an extended shackle unless he wants to be higher then 4.5.

No no no, I didn't buy the lift yet, I'm getting the 4.5 X-Series kit I think they have 3.5leafs in that kit but I'm not sure some people run this lift it looks proportionate haha

That thread talking about spacers is referring to adding 2" spacers on top of a 4.5" springs and using short arms. The problem has nothing to do with spacers. At 6.5" you need to be using long arms or control arm drop brackets to compensate for the drastic change in geometry. I run the drop brackets at 4.5 and love then.
Do some more research IMO you are on the right track but should probably get a better handle on how your suspension works together before spending your money.
I mean no offense by that statement.

I know I had to read that over again then I was like damn I totally missed the long arm part-__- I don't wanna go to long arms though or go that high as of right now (still a HS student), maybe in the future but not right now because I don't have the money for that and it's my DD so I basically just want it to look nice and off road a little.

Hehe. might not be the case for everyone. I wouldnt want my Jeep any higher then now. Depends on people. Forums are dangerous for the wallet. If the OP listened to all of us he would end up with three link longarms, sye, gears, lockers, winch and a rollcage in place of the his 4.5 rc kit.
