Default 4 door Comanche

I've seen 1 around my town a dozen or so times. I really want to know how it was done. I was able to snap a few pics my, my wife wouldn't let me stop but thought some might enjoy.

Most likely started out as an XJ that had the "frame" lengthened and a comanche bed put on.

I figured it must of started out as an xj. In person it looks nicely done. I wanted to get out and talk to the guy but the apparently my wife believes that would classify me as a stalker lol

Nonsense.

I do that all the time, I met one of my best friends that way.

I've also scored some killer deals and made some $$$ by talking to random Jeep guys.

Most are really cool and more than willing to chat for a few, about 1/10 are jerks.

Wow that looks really well done... almost too well done... I think you should find the guy and "make him and offer he can't refuse" to come tell us the story on that one...

I personally think it's very well done also, sitting next to it at a light it looks stock. I posted the pics not only to show it up but who knows maybe the owner hangs around the forum. Like I said I've only seen it a few times the past 2 years and it's always a drive by. But he has the jeep wave down; one of the few in my area.

100%, if you look at the front lower control arm mount its very boxed in shape.. the comanche's are a bit more rounded in their structure...

and i'm on the bandwagon with the rear doors... that would be the only flaw in my opinion
