If you want a selectable, dont buy an 8.25.
The only selectable locker for the 8.25 is an ARB, which is close to $900.

 

See I don't know **** bout lockers, the only thing I do know is they help out w traction. I just want to make an add to get away from my d35 that's on a budget. I have the money for the 8.8 swap but I just don't wanna go that route cuz it's gonna take more time and the xj will be down a few days and I only have my boss from work shop to work in,(gotta love apartment living cuz I just moved here to van Buren ark). And I found a bunch of 8.25's at a jy, and they have a bunch of 8.8's to. I donno I just want to go an inexpensive route. But all comments are helpful in my decision. Thanks y'all......
