so what are you running now? are you wanting 8inchs total taller than stalk or the 12inchs you would get by running a 8inch lift and tires to go with it?

i'm gonna guess it depends on how high his stalks are. i'm no country boy but i believe that at this time of year, they shouldnt be too high.

Have you ever ridden in a dump truck? It's quite smooth and not harsh.

Because dumptrucks are readily available at your local car dealer

8" with 35s? KTM, how about an example of 35s without lift? IMO, if you're lifted 8" you should be on full width axles running something like 40" tires. I don't understand the need to go that high, especially if you keep the factory track width.

New guys talk about how much lift they have, experienced guys talk about how little lift they can get away with. Thats how its always going to be. They will just have to learn for themselves. Most of the tall lift guys arent in it for the capability and building lifted xjs are just a phase for them anyway.

Just something I have noticed.

Very true. Would you mind directing me to pics or a build thread on that, though? I wanna stuff 35s under my MJ stock, and I'd like to see what you did.

and it all really depends what terrain you are on with 8 inchs of lift what tires you gonna run bc i don't think and 8 inch lift is to have anything lower then 35's just my opinion. i kinda want 35's for mine but i just bought 33's
How'd I know you were going to mention me? haha Like he said, I'm at 6.5 with a steep short arm angle and full pack leafs on stock shackles at a bad angle. I bought CADs and leaf sliders to change that. Haven't had time to put them on yet, but from what I've read, it'll improve my ride quality and flex. You can also do shackle relocation kits.
