Default 98 jeep cherokee.

Ight. I bought a jeep for $375. Warning looks horrible outside but the motor runs strong. Has 4.0L. I'm looking for help on what i should do cheaply for it. I have a son now but when he is old enough to ride i'll have him ready to go. Looking to put max $4500.00 into it on just body Frame and lift. Anything helps thanks. I've got Atleast six months till it has to be close.

Photos and overall condition will help us to help you for one fill out the user CP with info one the year and other info. Rust is the major issue with most of these and its what you don't see from the top that hurts. Crawl underneath and start poking with a screwdriver in the floor pans and all of the frame area that will tell if you have a builder or a parts Jeep.

Rear bumper brackets, lower quarter underneath bumper corners and the area where gas filler tube passes through frame sometimes covered with a shield are common areas of rust/rot that I have seen
