98 XJ Should i get this
Hi everybody. New to this forum and I am searching for an XJ right now. I found a 98 Jeep cherokee sport for 3000.
Here is what it has:
- 115,000 miles
- Chrysler 8.25 rear end
- 4.0 liter engine
-AW4 automatic, NP231 transfer case
- 4 Wheel disk brakes
- high performance exhaust
- New o2 sensors, all fluids, full ignition tune up, filters
It has stock wheels and suspension. The guy was asking 3,500 but I talked him down to 3,000. I wanted some of your inputs. Should I get it.

I'm with Zombie on this one, talk the owner down more if possible. $2,500 sounds perfect. But if you can't get the lesser price don't worry about it, $3000 still isn't a bad deal. XJ's are EVERYWHERE though, don't be afraid to pass on a deal that is less than perfect.
