What's this car worth ? 177k miles, road use only in New England. I'm selling it but thinking 4 wheeler guys might want it cause the late model manual trans is uncommon. I have kept up maint but it's not a pretty car. Trans was rebuilt 60k ago.

I have some pictures I can upload to my pbase account. But there is nothing pretty about the car. Zero rust below the roof, frame is solid. Roof has quite a but of rust, one spot just rusted thru as I rmoved the Thule rack. Paint is scratched in general. Cockpit area is decent. It's a beater. Was wondering if this car is in any demand by a 4-wheeler person due to the 5-speed. Any car that runs is worth a grand. This one runs well has 4wd and a trailer hitch So is 1500 sound in the ballpark ?

IMO a 5 speed doesn't mean a whole lot or add value. They are not as rare as you think. If I were you I would just clean it up and list it. KBB says in fair condition it would bring $2200. Craigslist it for that and see if you get offers.

BTW... many people like the auto for off roading. It is easier to wheel and transmissions like the AW4 is stronger than the AX5 and AX15 manuals.

If the undercarriage looks anything like most cars from up North, I'd say about 400 dollars.

the rusted through roof hurts; but i'd ask 2k obo. You might walk away with 12-1500.

5spds are rare in the 97-01 model 4drs. 2drs not so rare.
