Not always true, but 31 inch tires should be ok. Thirty five seems to be the magic number when things start wear out.

I'm aware that suit cost money but I got connections to free 31s so all I'd be out is getting it running right and the lift. And it's not a daily driver just a bottoms cruiser got 3 other vehicles so not worried about **** wearing out any faster and I don't think that a 31 would cause too much harm to things.

I would go for it I'd also like a set of free 31s haha I had to go back to 235's for the moment (wore em out)

Dad use to have a 78 Chevy mud truck with 38. U joins about once a month axles twice a year. Also had a little more horse than stock probably played a part in the ware and tare.

Haha. They aren't the best tires but they are great for free. Used at a coal mine and cut up but oh well.
