100psi on the end of a flat cap on a 3" tube will have about 700 pounds of force on it, just saying

I was gonna use dome caps with an air fitting on it so all I would have to do is hook an air line to it

I think with good welds, end caps, and pressures under 150psi you would be safe

I know its really not gonna be that bad to build but I'm sure that its gonna be time consuming more than anything

Here is the square tube bumper I made for my YJ.

I do have experience with welding of pressure vessels, and pipe welding.

I always keep it drained when I'm on the road.

All weld joints were beveled with a 1/8" gap, E-6010 keyhole root pass, and E-7018 (hot) cover pass.

My compressor is set to shut off at 160 psi.

Its looking good and I know it won't cost that much to build em it will just take a lil time
