My air in my XJ turns on and acts like it's working . But nothing is coming out of the vents . I'm not for sure what to do about this problem ?

If your saying that your not getting any air at all out of the thing, then you will need this, mine only had HIGH when i bought it.

As for no cold air, you probably need some freon from any auto parts store? Its all explained on the bottle what you need to do to add it, usually runs about $25.

To purchase freon you must be a certified A/C specialist. Cars don't even use Freon anymore, pretty much anything post-1990 is Tetrafluoroethane.
If your car does take R12 (Freon) not only is it nearly impossible to find anymore, you can't do it anyways. You'll want to look into purchasing the conversion from R12 to R134A (Tetrafluoroethane) for your AC system.

Sorry didnt know it was a conversion, the stuff for cold air is different than what you need. Well so far. Start out with checking all the fuses before you get teh Duralast part, if the fuse is good its probably the part I listed, and that should get the air moving then worry about cold air.
If you missing cold air you need http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...er=532242_0_0_

My Jeep is doing something similar. The fan and A/C both work, but when it rains and is very humid it doesn't blow air out the vents. You can hear the fan, but no air. I was thinking vacuum line for a vent damper but I can't hear any vacuum leaks and don't know where to else to start.
