When I first bought mine.... it would only blow throught the defroster, no matter which setting I had it on.... repaired a vacuum line (it looks cheapy) but it works.... everything that is except the A/C, but that is another problem I believe.

Me too, i was working fine, but suddenly it cools fine then i accelerate and the air goes away, someone said it could be a line of the vacume but im new to this A/C, do someone have pictures of where and how to check vacumes lines.


One more thing, ac is fine then it stops blowing ac, at all speeds, i opened the hood and i see the gray tube and gray line of the ac all frozen, i mean frozen with a lot of ice on them, completely white, what could it be?

that my friend is a low coolant fluid problem, most likely.. Recharge the system and that will go away. but you probably have a leak somewhere and should take steps to find and fix that as soon as possible. It will only get worst if you put it off.. A charge can of 134a with a leak dye plus some glasses to see the dye will run approx $20 plus or so. you should be able to find the leak and replace the part with minumal effort. Follow the federal guide lines for recovery and recharge and you should be fine.

To purchase freon you must be a certified A/C specialist. Cars don't even use Freon anymore, pretty much anything post-1990 is Tetrafluoroethane.

If your car does take R12 (Freon) not only is it nearly impossible to find anymore, you can't do it anyways. You'll want to look into purchasing the conversion from R12 to R134A (Tetrafluoroethane) for your AC system.
You can buy R12, Or its substitutes but its extremely expencive and cheaper to convert to ****ty r-134a

You're saying the blower motor isn't running at any speed, correct? Heater AND AC positions? First, check the blower motor fuse.. pull it out and test with a continuity tester or an ohm meter. Sometimes they can be blown and still look good. If the fuse is good, and your model has a relay for the blower, check that too. I can't tell you how exactly to test it, but there should be a similar one in there you can swap it with temporarily.
The blower motor resistors in Jeeps often fail, but when they are wired to default to the high setting(fan speed) and should run on that. If your AC is on, and there's no air blowing thru your evaporator (passenger compartment 'radiator') Then the system will freeze up, or overcool, causing a lot of frost on the lines. If it does that, then you probably have plenty of juice in it. Adding more r134a won't make your blower work. hope this helps some

I'm going to guess it doesn't blow out the vents (except maybe defrost vents) whether it's raining or not. Rain/humidity won't affect the vents. It's more likely a vacuum leak behind the climate control panel. Pull off the cover and look for loose or damaged vacuum lines. If not, your blend door could be stuck. I don't know if yours is vacuum or motor controlled, but that's where i'd start.
