Love it. No regrets. And I'm getting tube doors soon for the summer. Anyways. No matter what you do, once you take them off they will never be the same. But if you do it right, you won't notice the sag. My doors actually shut better now. They used to hang out but now are even better lol. I have power everything and it only takes me maybe 3 minutes to go doorless, 5 to get them back on. I've had a crap load of problems though. Pin broke off, fork broke off, door would catch fender, etc. but got it all worked out. I would go for it! Worth it. I do get frustrated though. I am alone when I take off and put on the doors most of the time so it's hard to get them both lined up to drop in. I've actually dropped my door before, they are obnoxiously heavy lol. I love being doorless. No one understands and usually glare or say something smart but it's awesome. Also if your worried about someone getting in, just make sure your glove box is locked up and nothing is in there. I'm going to get a pedal lock so mine won't get stolen.

That write up seems easy enough. Probably just do the front 2 and leave the rear doors the way they are.

I ground down the ends of my pins just a little bit, to give them a slightly rounded end, and ran a drill bit barely in the top side of the holes the pins slide in to give them a slightly rounded edge as well. Mine drop on and lift off easy, and mine is a 2 door. I would think a 4 door would be really easy, at least as easy as the steel doors my buddy had on his CJ7.

I'm going to make a painfully guided write up in my build when it warms up. Will need pics of stock hinges and doors... Need to do some googling.

I saw somewhere about having to weld in a new door pin on the 97+ because they will bend, but I haven't seen anything about that in these write-ups.

Not a single regret.
They go on and off just fine.
Granted, mine don't line up anymore but that doesn't have anything to do with the hinges. Has a lot to do with the roof line being bashed in.
The only thing I warn about is that usually you never reinstall the door check pins which leads to flinging the door open hard. Enough of that will remove the body side hinges from the body and you'll be welding them back on.
Be careful about running no door check pins.
(and this was with the check pins...)
