Now I get the question.
I know squat about towing but I don't think I ever noticed a hitch bolted together like that.
The one I refreshed was welded. No bolts on it like that.
I am thinking I would not disassemble it.

we got a boat shop in town that does it all to anything, can do a whole car chassis.

Replaced my inherited crystal eyes(?) replacement tail lights (the one on the right) with stock oems... which do you prefer?? (*if anyone wants the crystal eyes, lemme know, cover shipping and their yours, im gonna toss em in a week or so otherwise)

having trouble with the fog light replacement... the depo ones from carparts arent the same shape and wont fit onto the bolted on base plate, they must be for adding lights, not replacing the limited factory ones... gonna maybe goto a pick n pull and see if I can find some clean ones, I doubt anyone would leave any but Ive never been to one so should go to start to get my feet wet.

I'd like to start replacing/cleaning these little plastic fender panel thingees too if anyone has any advice! Cant believe it's almost thanksgiving!

I think imgur sucks also.
