Get a pic of the brick schoolhouse in New Lebanon. I went there through third grade.

So I should say that I sometimes drive to Michigan with it's terrible roads. Still strictly pavement in Michigan. The internet says I should fully skin my frame with 5/8 inch AR500 to withstand the bumps. What do y'all think?

One of the chemical rust converts, good prep, primer and paint. If you aren't going to do that to the inside of that square tube then fluid film once a year in there. And anywhere else that has an inside full of rust.

He mentioned Fluid Film which is the product I use on my Jeeps, in fact I shot my XJ just last week. The aerosol cans are good and get yourself a wand for them if you can. There are much less expensive ones than this one - a search of Eastwood Company products would be good. If you have access to a compressor most of the basic rust proofing guns work fine. I buy Fluid Film by the gallon and shoot my own vehicles. I gave up on going to Krown as they shoot EVERYTHING even the things that don't rust!

I refreshed a factory trailer hitch that I picked up.
Before picture.
Poured some EvapoRust into the tubes and let it soak. Helped it along by scraping the sides with a long crappy screwdriver.
After.
A lot of people bad mouth the Eastwood Internal Frame Coating, hey maybe they are right what do I know, but had
some around so squirted it in there. And just let it run out and dry.
And not wanting to remove the stickers I wire brushed off any loose rust on the outside and just hit
it here and there with some POR15 without using any of the prep chemicals.
Whether this was a good idea or not is anybody's guess.

Heres some pics of the headliner... they matched the cloth color and the plethor visors to the original door pretty spot on! Really happy with the work they did, just not the price, ouch....

Anyhow, I was gonna go chill out in her in a bit and will snap a pick of the door plate info.
So the 3.73 is better torque for towing and while slower off the line, it has higher end? I noticed I had no problem stomping the gas at 50 to get to 65 to pass etc... and I had read a lot of XJ owners complain the automatic transmission wouldnt downshift crisply at those speeds, im guessing its due to the ratio?
Anyhow, the only complain I have is that around 70+ it feels like if I dont death grip the wheel it could vibrate back and forth into a tip and roll, its kind of scary, and Im not sure if its just something Im projecting and ill get used to it, or if maybe I need an alignment, new bushings on the sway bar, or soemthing like that...
Anyhow, hope your well! Whats new in your jeep life brotha!
