I refreshed a factory trailer hitch that I picked up.
Before picture.
Poured some EvapoRust into the tubes and let it soak. Helped it along by scraping the sides with a long crappy screwdriver.
After.
A lot of people bad mouth the Eastwood Internal Frame Coating, hey maybe they are right what do I know, but had
some around so squirted it in there. And just let it run out and dry.
And not wanting to remove the stickers I wire brushed off any loose rust on the outside and just hit
it here and there with some POR15 without using any of the prep chemicals.
Whether this was a good idea or not is anybody's guess.

Ha, I just noticed thats because it is, couldnt see the strings on my phone! Seems like cleaning it like a rifle barrel would work too, I just gotta find a large enough brass/steel bristle pull through, then coat a ball of rags with lanolin and pull it through a few times

The one thing about this jeep, is I am basically light off road driving all the time... I am not sure people realize the state of disrepair these streets are in New York.
I see a lot of bottoming outs on all these low uber camrys etc... the scrapes are real, lol. Here are the pics of one of the streets I park on. Albeit they are about to repave it and thats why they ripped it up, but still, you are constantly driving from semi crappy normal streets to this kind of "light urban offroading" like this throughout any trip you take here...
And in local news:
Thats why my new motto is:
yes im having Tshirts Made! 8)

So the higher the gear the quicker off the line and less top speed basically? If Im just daily driving it do I need to really worry about it? I might tow my belongings from NYC to georgia if it gets any more **** around here. im guessing like a ton max... Its not worth going through all the trouble of pulling the dana 35 and getting like a 8.25 is it? I would do it if its worth it for other reasons, but since im just local driving mostly with it, I wasnt gonna mess with it.
