My wife is interested in a 2000 jeep grand cherokee, Our main concern for this vehicle is a daily driver... It needs A/C, radio is a plus for her, and be comfortable. I have only owned and messed around with jeep cherokees, most of all renix eras ones.

So if the price is good and everything works out, should we bite? Any negativity towards these grand cherokees????

Did the 2000 WJs also have the head cracking problem?

Yes, same 0331 casting. 2002-2004 WJ is preferable as far as the 4.0 motor is concerned.

The wj you want the 03-04 years they give it a face lift and has the good cylinder head on it.

The early liberty model was horribly unreliable from what I've seen.
