Okay, I've got the typical rust on the valences and door panels for an '01. Not garage kept in winter, yet! Thought I'd grind the rust off, hit them with a rust inhibitor, and then put on the XRC cladding I purchased. I know this won't prevent the cancer from spreading. My question really is whether anyone has used this Flexseal stuff they advertise on TV. Thought I'd put it on under the cladding, spray the cladding with inhibitor and paint. If it works, why wouldn't be fine for a quick fix rust remover under the vehicle, avoiding the maintenance points and things people want to swap out/change to the greasy side of the vehicle? Like the login says, I don't know enough to as intelligent questions.

A good rule of thumb is if you can buy it at Home Depot, it probably doesn't belong on your jeep...lol

Flex seal is nothing more the rubberized undercoating in a can with a different name, and priced 3x as high.
