Default Anyone else's KM2's suck in the mud?

I recently got a set of brand new 35x12.5 bfg km2's. I put them to the test today and dissapointed is an understatement. They stayed drag slicks pretty much all day, i was getting out performed by other near bald mud tires of the same size. In all seriousness, they barely threw any chunks in 4 low, 2nd gear, on the red line. I just baught them new and i'm already thinking about selling/trading them. Anyone else have bad mud experiences with km2's? I wonder if they'll get better as they wear a little?

And yes i can turn over 35s very well, i'm geared to 4.56 and know how to use that right pedal.

And why didn't you get super swamper TSL's ? Did you get them installed somewhere and ask about returning them?

yep they do suck in the mud. they are a great tow rig tire but wheeling applications they lack alot. also they have weak sidewalls.....

Hm interesting, thanks for the responses. I'd like to hear a few more. I was litterally killing my jeep today getting them to somewhat clean, one of my buddies told me his street tires on his dd truck threw more chunks out than my km2's did lol.

i run them and love them. mine grip great on rocks. i also have to pull someone out of a creek and i was on a really rocky shore with big boulders. i had no issues gripping. i also love being in the mud and they have preformed the best out of anyone elses tires. mine also clean out pretty damn good. try taking it out of 4low and going to 4hi and stomping on it or putting it in 2hi and stomping on it. i have noticed when its in 4low it doesnt clean any tire.

I love my KM2's! Buy swampers if you're only mudding.

Sorry, i actually went down to 20, not much to matter really. Got mixed up with something else, but our trail is right down the street from the house so i just droveit to and from at 20. I'll usually go down to 12-14 when i take it to parks.

And this jeep sees a little bit of everything. I really like the 35x12.5 size, haven't seen tsl's that size before. Although I wouldn't mind a set of 34 10.5 ltb's. And i would like to point out that i got these 4 km2's brand new for $750. Only reason i have them right now really....

TSL Super Swampers are better then any KM2 on the trail(especially aired down) or in the mud, you are getting mixed up with IROK Super Swampers, which are okay on the trail but focused on mud.
