Sorry for bringing a thread back from the crypts of CF, I am considering making a Cowl snorkel for my XJ, But I was thinking of running it threw the cowl by an having this scoop face the windshiled to force in the air .
What are your opinions on this ?

What if to combined a normal fender style snorkel and a cowl snorkel?
PVC through the passenger side of the cowl and up the a pillar then apply dura glass to form it into the shape you want so it doesn't look like PVC.
Idk if it would work or not but it's an idea.

How about running the snorkel on the inside of the Jeep through the dash along the pillar and have the snorkel part sticking up through the roof ? At least no one would see how crappy the toilet plumbing looks.
