Anyone have a tan/sand rattlecanned XJ?
My '94 is a Country model, it's dark green with gold trim, flares, bumpers, etc. Anyways, I'm thinking of rattlecanning it a flat tan(like desert camo tan), and using a roll on black bedliner for the rockers and satin black the bumpers, grill, flares, etc. Anyone have any pics of anything similar? I was going to go with OD green/black combo, but I'm still sitting on the fence, I do LOVE OD green!

I agree about the present green helping to hide scratches
I also love od on an xj
BUT.. if I liked the tan too, id go that way instead just to be different.
Eventhough they look great, there are a LOT of od xjs

The only problem with OD green, is if you get out it in the woods. And leave your jeep. There incredibly hard to find again. I've see a lot people looking around for their vehicles, in the woods of northern Wisconsin. During the opening of trout fishing, or a hunting season. It's kinda like painting your ice fishing shanty, white. And then wondering why you can't find it.

Thats why I leave mine running, I just listen for it (no muffler, got crunched off)...but then again because its running...I never stray too far. Plus, Im always carrying.
I am not, by any means, saying too cut off your muffler and go buy a gun tho, just so you can find your XJ....LOL!

Just a heads up, Krylon makes a good gloss paint in a rattle can. I recently finished doing my 93 with Krylons Bahama sea blue gloss. I took off the hood to do it, and I've bedlined the roof so there aren't any overspray lines. But Krylon has a bunch of cool colors that I haven't seen on an xj before. Just sayin'.
