I have the AT2s on mine and they're a good AT. The mastercrafts are made by Cooper.

I swear by the BFG All Terrains. I haven't put them on my Jeep yet, but my Blazer has gone through some super thick mud, sand, and work perfect on the road. I haven't had them through a snow storm yet, but hopefully that'll change soon if the weather cooperates.

I hated the BFG AT's the PO had on the Jeep when I bought it. They suck in snow and mud. I don't know why everyone says they're good in snow because I couldnt get traction for crap. Mud we all know about AT's. Plus they hydroplane like no other if you hit a puddle at a decent speed.

I went with some Duratracs about 2 months ago. Theyre between an AT and MT. They do really well in mud and excellent in snow. Best tires Ive owned so far.

The BF Goodrich AT are great tires for the overall and multi-condition situation. I just got the Jeep and will soon have a set on. Why was for me is it the best choice. Well, I'm looking for a higher mileage tire and one with a good track record. Chasers tend to love them. If I could, I would have put a set on my Subaru (what I owned before the Jeep). with chasing in the central plains there is all kinds of terrain: Dry dirt, mud (from clay, loam, sand, etc.), gravel, sand and more (in addition to thousands...tens of thousands of pavement miles). Hurricane chasers have to deal with sand and storm surge, lots of debris from trees to building pieces. The BFs seem to be the favored tire for that group. I know some will not like them...but I think the 1 outta 10 isn't going to spoil the over whelming reality they are the favored tire out there, anywhere.
