okay, so i have been doing a full rebuild on my jeep for a while now. and one of the things we did was swap the auto for an AX15 5speed. tranny is in with the engine. engine is mounted and tranny to engine, but tranny wont bolt up to my old mount and cross member (go figure)

i got the required mount but the cross member still wont line up (again i figured it wouldnt but thought id try) my question is which cross member i do need to complete this swap.

can anyone help me here?

 

I've been looking at doing the same thing... pretty much have to find an ax15 Cherokee and steal the crossmember. I have had two 97's. I can prolly find one of the vin's to take to the Jeep dealer if it would help you...

Where are you located? I would love to find a donor 97-01 with the ax15 in it for my 01 limited...
