Where can I find Dana 44s completly set up for cheap? Or a reasonable price? I am wanting 4:56 gears and lockers any suggestions where to shop??

I know Dynatrac will special make them but they are not cheap thats why i was asking maybe someone knew something i didnt.

Maybe a tonka truck has some. Those are dirt cheap.

best bet is to watch craigs list like a hawk!!!!!
Maybe someone will be parting there rig out
Ive seen full width waggy 44s that where being sold
all ready for an xj , never had the money to
jump on anything tho.

a waggy 44 isnt much of an upgrade though

Exactly, if you're going fullwidth then at least do a 9" rear.

If your going full width go with 60s. If you have any fab skills they are fairly cheap to build up. I can get a 60 for the same price as an 8.8 at the jy.

That depends what size tires he plans on running. You have to factor in the weight difference between the 60's and a 9"/44.

Prob 35-37 I got a 5.5 lift now but am about to do an 8 in coilover lift

I'd suggest some fords! d44 front with upgraded shafts and 9" rear. Saves a lot of weight compared to dana 60's with that tire size.

D60's are for 39"+ tires.
