So if I have a full tank it says empty and an empty tank says full..... WHY?!?! Alsooo my jeep cranks for a super long time then starts.... New starter and battery!!!D: why is this?! Fuel pump??? are they related issues??? I wanna know more opinions befor I replace the pump!

Did you just call your Jeep a Car?

Bad sensor.. Im at a loss on this as vehlicle electronics and knowledge of sensors and how they work is not something I am up on.. Something to learn still I guess..
Sorry I couldn't be of more help but consider me subscribed..

This topic might fall under advanced cherokee tech fwiw.

it may be an issue with the sending unit connections not sure. or the fuel pump going. as far as the hard starts goes. try turning the key on and either count to 3 or wait till the beeps stops then try starting it. i tell my wife to do this with hers so that it gives the fuel pump time to pump fuel and build pressure. starts right away with doing this as opposed to cranking on it a few seconds like she used to. but as far as the backwards reading im not sure not an electrical guy either.
