The jeep... not the wife. I would never say that about my wife... she just keeps getting better with age. Is she still looking over my shoulder?
I could have rented a limo for that day, but I just washed up the Jeep... "Because I can".

But in that accusation I would wonder? Would you be stalking the Jeep, Her or Him? LMAO...
Just ribbing man... But I like the retro red pin striping on that Jeep. And her red hair compliments the other half of the frame!
Good looking Jeep... And good looking couple! And I too would like to see an updated picture!

Her hair matched the pinstripes!
OK... back on topic!
I'll try to recreate the original pic once I get my idle issue taken care of and can get the jeep out of the garage.

Well... I don't have that awesome hair anymore... but she's gotten more beautiful.

By the way... I am losing my top knot too. But you look more Debonair and Wise as it progresses Sir. And yes, She has not changed one bit from the original photo! Lucky man... Don't screw it up! lol

Bought my XJ Sport new in 1991... only "new" vehicle I've ever owned. Bought the one with the least electronics, so it would be easy to work on.
Still own it today, and it's older than my marriage (Married 25 years).
Will I get rid of it? No
Will I give it to one of my daughters? No
Why do I keep it? Because I can.
I've had so many experiences and memories in this thing, not all are exciting, but all were memorable:
Hope to have many more memories in this thing... "Because I can!"

I've had so many experiences and memories in this thing, not all are exciting, but all were memorable:
- Getting to meet so many people by pulling countless folks out of ditches, one off the side of a mountain.
- Pulling my best friend's truck out of the mud late one night.
- High-siding it in a mud rut right outside of my apartment when I was in college. It dried up and locked the jeep there tightly. Had to look at it every day when I walked out the door to go to school. Had to wait for another rain to loosen the soil and had a buddy pull me out.
- Driving to the slopes of New Mexico and Colorado countless times during college. Didn't need chains to get up the mountains like everyone else did.
- Jumping this thing out of the many "craters" in west Texas.
- Surfing the many flooded parking lots after west Texas rains.
- Driving with the cab flooded, water over my pedals... opening the door and letting the water flow out the door.
- Made out with my girlfriend (later wife) in the back... outside her house when we were dating.
- Driving off from the church with my wife, immediately after we got married.
- Wrenching on it... replacing all the things I need to in order to keep her running.
- Taking my kids to school in it.
- Putting a lift on it with my best friend.
- Teaching my oldest daughter how to drive a "stick" in it.
Hope to have many more memories in this thing... "Because I can!"
