I did this one about a year and half ago and those pics are recent. I sprayed mine Took 13 cans to get right. Did the jams under hood and all. I'm about to lift it 4-4.5 inches an hang some built bumpers I have been workin on once it warms back up a little. The best thing you scratch it up just keep a few cans on hand hit it with the hose let it dry and lightly keep touching it up and it blends right in

2nd pic was right after its mother natured car wash lol

Public Service announcement: stop bedlining your XJ's!

Plasti dip them instead! Any color you want and when your bored of it you just peel it off! Especially if your jeep has a decent paint job that you want to keep nice plasti dip is the way to go.

Yeah.. Cause the trails not gonna tear that **** off for you.. Hmm... I think you missed the point of why you'd bedline in the first place..

I think you may be a little uneducated when it comes to plasti dip. Nothing in the trail is going to tear it off. Trust me. It's way better than bedliner. Bedliner gets stained with mud and generally just looks like crap in a month. Not to mention it's permanent.

Ok. When I first heard about plasti dip, I googled a bit and found a lot of people saying road debris had chipped the plati dip...

When I go wheeling there are trees and brush constantly scraping my paint. If it was plati dip on there, I could see it easily peeling and tearing pieces of it off. Then its gonna look like ***. Money wasted.

As far as bedliner looking like crap after it gets muddy and fading etc., I think that might have been a problem with the first diy bedliner products. I've had my bumber and end caps on my 99 bedlined for over a year now. No fading. Its been muddy and cleaned, not brown. It is a bit harder to clean vs. paint, you just need something with slightly stiff bristles.

Honestly if you apply the plasti dip correctly it will last. Bed liner chips horribly.. But let's face it nothing lasts forever. But I really do have confidence in plasti dip. The stuff is amazing.

Not really. I had the rockers done on my 95 and slit chipped and went to hell within a few months.

That's the problem with bedliner. It fades and then looks like crap and your stuck with it. It's permanent. You can put another coat on it but then your just gonna eventually just gonna have a thick coat of crap bedliner on your rig. Plus the paint on my jeep is pretty good. The plasti dip will keep it looking good underneath and if one day your tired of it you just peel it off...

I didn't say it looks like crap, it doesn't. It is faded but as I said it still looks good. The fender flares are black and with the black rack and wheels and bumper it sets off the faded bedliner. You don't have to like it but I do.
